Lisa DiPoala Haber, Esq. is an attorney who has 33 years of experience as a litigator helping both individuals and businesses resolve disputes to their satisfaction. Prior to starting her own practice, Lisa was associated with Gilberti, Stinziano, Heintz and Smith, P.C. where she eventually became a partner and Chair of the Business Litigation Practice. She left the Gilberti Firm in March of 2009 to accept a position as law clerk to the Honorable David E. Peebles, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of New York, and returned to the Gilberti Firm as Of Counsel in October 2012.

Lisa was appointed as a panel mediator for the United States District Courts for the Northern District of New York.  Lisa also serves by appointment on the New York Ethics Commission.

Lisa has also previously served as a confidential law clerk to the justices of New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, as well as former Supreme Court Justice Parker J. Stone. She was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Syracuse in the litigation unit. Lisa is admitted to practice law in the State of New York as well as the Northern, Western and Southern Districts of the United States District Courts and the Second and Seventh Circuits of the United States Court of Appeals.

She is a past president of the Central New York Women’s Bar Association and has been actively involved in both bar association, community organizations and pro bono legal services throughout her career and regularly lectures on civil law topics. She is a magna cum laude graduate of both Syracuse University College of Law and the S. I. New School of Communications at SU.
