Stephanie Crysler, Esq.

Stephanie Crysler, Esq. is a compassionate and dedicated family law attorney representing clients in divorce, custody, child support, orders of protection, guardianships, and adoption matters. Stephanie understands that family law cases are deeply personal and often emotionally challenging. She takes the time to listen to her clients, understand their goals, and provide practical guidance and strong advocacy throughout every stage of their case.

For more than six years, Stephanie has represented individuals and families in Family Court and Supreme Court proceedings, handling both contested and collaborative matters. Known for her thoughtful approach and strong courtroom advocacy, Stephanie combines legal skill with empathy to help clients navigate difficult transitions with confidence. She believes that communication is essential and works closely with her clients to ensure they feel informed, supported, and prepared throughout the legal process.

Prior to focusing her practice on family law, Stephanie represented physicians, hospitals, and healthcare institutions in medical malpractice litigation at a prominent Buffalo law firm. That experience provided her with litigation and courtroom experience, including motion practice, case strategy, negotiations, and advocacy in high-stakes matters. Stephanie also gained prosecutorial experience through her work with the Erie County and Tompkins County District Attorney’s Offices.

Born and raised in Syracuse, Stephanie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ithaca College and her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. While in law school, she served as a student attorney in the Family Violence and Women’s Rights Clinic, representing clients in Family Court proceedings, and competed in moot court and national trial competitions.

Stephanie currently serves as the co-chair of the Matrimonial and Family Law Section of the Onondaga County Bar Association and is an active member of both the Onondaga County and New York State Bar Associations. Stephanie is also a member of the Collaborative Law Group of Central New York.
